I used BBQ paint first. It held up alright was a little thin through my gun.

A few suggestions from when I did mine, not sure what size yo are doing. But if you are doing the 3 inch, when you go to make the slots for the rear bumper mount, drill a hole at each end and cut the rest with a cutoff wheel. even a dremel cutoff wheel will do. And just cut your transmission cooler lines and add in rubber hose as needed, its quicker and way easier than trying to hand bend them. It took me 9 hours the first time, but I know I could do it in 7 now that i've done it before.

It was just a minor tie down bolt so it didn't really matter. All of the cab body bolts are coming out fine. Slow, but fine and I just have 1 left.

I am having a problem with the front core support bolt. The nut came off but the metal bushing cap is twisting with the bolt and not backing out.

Any way to put pressure on the bottom of the bolt and force the threads to catch?

I've got a couple large clamps so I'll try that next.

Well, I snapped off that Core support bolt head, lol. It was going great, I used some dremel cutoff wheels between the core support and metal bushing cap to apply friction when I used the Large C-clamp to sandwich it all together.

The bolt was backing out fine when it decided to just snap the head off, lol.

I'm not sure how I'm going to fix this but I'm just going to keep installing the Body lift and deal with it when I make my way back around putting in all the bushings.

What I did once with a partially backed bolt I snapped the head on is I took a oscillating tool (or a dremel) and cut a straight notch across it and backed it out slow with a flathead screwdriver (or on a rachet). Worked for me if you've got enough backed out to make the cut

I just spent the last 2.5 hours drilling out the bolt from the bushing sleeve/cap. I don't have a work bench so bolted it through the frame with two nuts then drilled the bolt out.

I have all the cab and core spacers in now. Next is the bed. I'm not going to jinx myself by talking about that though, lol
