when I did mine I took all can mounts out, jacked front of can up, put the pucks in with bolts the jacked up rear of the cab,I did however snap the 2 bolts (5/8) head I think in the front but if you do, just jack up the front of the cab and there is still another place to put a socket or wrench to remove it! Goodluck

I don't know yet. I've still got a few quarts of POR and prep from my car but I'm not sure what paint I'll use over it. I might be lazy and use a BBQ paint or Hi-temp engine enamel.
