input appreciated, this doesnt sound right.

Took my truck in for an allignment after cranking the torsion bars. They said I need a new pitman arm and idler arm. Quoted me at $480..... Said 4 hours of labor and $150 in parts. That doesn't sound right, I've never replaced these parts before but I'm not paying that. I've been reading/watching and it doesn't seem all that hard as long I order the right size idler arm. On a scale of 1-10 how hard is this job? Anything else I'll need other than basic tools, a fork, and a puller? Or should I take it to a shop and pay the $480?

Done it on my truck. About 1 maybe hour and a half. I think your set on tools.

Badass is right. You must have the alcohol. You'll probably need it for the booboo's you'd get, doing the work the first time.
