Default increasing HP with no acceleration difference

So here is where I am at with my truck nostalgic project... Before you post do a 5.4 motor swap or sell it and buy a lighting... you're missing the point. This was the truck that I always wanted as a kid... the 4.6L V8 also has some nostalgic ties so I am looking to do with what I have... so I have done the following with almost no difference in acceleration.

Some of these I know add little to no HP just listing all that has been done.

Under Drive pulleys from BBK
Magna Flow dual 3 inch exhaust
Ford Racing headers
larger 75mm throttle body from BBK
larger JET power flo Mass air sensor
Cold Air intake
170 degree thermostat
JET CHIP - computer
10mm Ford Racing Plug Wires
New plugs and Distributors from BBK
Trans cooler

What am I missing? Stock rear end is 3.55 and its a 2WD truck

Only thing I can think of is put 4.10 gear in and pray that does the difference, maybe its just the 3.55 gears holding it back?

At this point I am thinking a NOS kit or just leave it and stop messing with it, I would like to get a little more power from the truck but I am out of ideas. Maybe some ways to lighten the truck?

At this point that is all I can think to do, any ideas or help you can offer is greatly appreciated.

Yea nothing done so far increases HP, not even a little. Unless you counting hype hp. If that's the case, it must be difficult keeping that front end on the ground. I don't think you've hurt it too much, they are fairly resilient engines. Can't believe you out of ideas though

You're not doing yourself any favors with that 170 degree thermostat. You really should be running a 194 for the PCM to function properly.

Forced induction or 5.4 swap, those are really your choices.

Start with gears, then a Dyno Tune using SCT. Junk the Jet stuff and switch to the things that are known to work.

Gears, Cams (Depending on your goal), Long Tubes w/o Cats, Blower or Turbo.. etc.

Unless you're comparing Back to back dyno's your butt Dyno is NOT a good way to determine gains. Especially with 3.55 gears slow rolling when you're at most talking 10-15flwhp with your mods and no real tune.
