lol i seriously doubt this race will come down to the weight of the seats. his truck is already a lot heavier so with high octane fuel and tuning you MIGHT be able to beat him

Wow i was hoping a few ppl would comment but this many is great. I wanna walk all over this guy. Local guy around here says 400 for an sct chip and 250 for a custom tune is that normal? And how much are a good set of long tube headers worth? I have an exhaust guy who is gonna do the 3 inch exhaust for cheap in stainless. Im changing all my fluids to synthetic just cause they need to be changed anyway and with the cold air intake i was gonna run a 3 inch mandrel bent pipe from tb to stock filter box and then another 3 inch pipe from there to the fender well. Should act like a cold air but cheaper and in my opinion still drawing cold air. Shedding weight is a good idea too so ill look into that too.

Ummm if you wanna play dirty... Launch in 4x4... I did that a few times.. Kinda of risky to your system I would think.

race him with a 1/4 tank of gas that takes alot of lbs off and.. where goggles and roll ur windows down and put ur head out the window u will get around 2 1/2 hp and do a fist pump before u launch it will get u out the hole wayyy faster .. and race at night time with glasses it dont do anything just makes u cool! hope this help..

I raced a 2500 with a 6l in high school nationals and he was a second and a half slower then me just launch at the right time and don't have unneeded things in it
