Default Ignition coils!

Hey guys, I was looking to replace the coils in my truck, and was kinda hoping to do a little upgrade, I was wondering what kinds you put in your truck?
I was looking into these,
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ac.../f-150/cid/330
With a set of motor craft Spark plugs

Well, don't take it from just me, - google the two and add the word "problems".

Let us know what you find.

Mind sound cheesy but they have worked fine for years. Called the sultans of spark lmao. For the price thought it was worth a try and since they were posted in a 4x4 mag if figured they would be legit

Yea, to many problems over the years with them. Just like all the other coils (COP's) from china. Accels other stuff is good. It's a roll of the dice with their COP system coils, - hit ur miss. It's the low tech after market scam lol. They use single build magnets, = shorter service life and can't survive to much thermal shock action.

The ONLY spec coils out there at a reasonable price are the Visteons, - from the Hungary plant. Visteon/Motorcraft are spec'ed Ford build coils.

I've had my 03 Screw 4.6 for 10 years now...I've replaced 6 of these suckers over the years. Truck starts missing and CEL comes on- drive it straight to the parts store and scan it- Cyl # whatever misfire code. Just buy another coil pack and put it on. The ONLY ones I've had to replace twice are the aftermarket ones. Motorcraft seems to only go out once.

I'm running WeaponX EFX level 2 coils and have not had one single failure in over 100k miles. Just because the specs are different doesnt mean anything. I personally wouldnt run Accel/Granatelli Coils. I have run MSD and swiftly swapped back to my efx coils.
