Default I went mudding and now I only first gear

I was going mudding and I put it in reverse and it clunked. The engine runs fine and doesn’t get hot. I just have no reverse and when I go about twenty it clunks and that’s as fast as I can go.

If the engine RPM is up and you are only going 20, no reverse sounds like tranny to me. May have over heated.

Sounds to me like somebody's looking at a trans rebuild or replacement for a few hundred Benjamins.

Yep.... I've seen it happen before. They don't like being low on fluid, nor do they like muddy water or anti-freeze in there.

Check post #5, hate to say it, but I think that's what you're looking at.
