My buddy has the same truck and motor as me. 4.6 But he has 3.73 gears and I have 3.55 and he smokes me. But his gas mileage is worst then mine. I have been wanting a little more power my self and pondering same thing. Programmer or gears. I would like to go with a programmer but theirs so many to chose from. It makes it hard to chose not knowing exactly what each on does. They all have a bunch of claims, but which ones are true is the tricky part. I will be watching this thread.
you name it it does it! it will even turn the rear o2 sensors off so you can delete your cats and never worry about c.e.l. again. you can also make your own custom tunes!

I just got the superchips cortex after reading many reviews, couldn't be happier. But most programmers just change the shift points and tweak the engine just a bit so don't expect that much more power, just prolonged shift periods and faster down shifts.

love the diablo in my work truck I don't play with it much but the truck was completely different after it was tuned...it's also an 6.0t
