Default I want louder exhaust

Hi everybody! I am new to the forum thing and I just need some help. I want a loud exhaust. Not something to where I'm gonna have to creep thru town with, but something that sounds really mean and aggressive. Any help will be very much appreciated. Right now I have a cat back (if that's what u want to call it). It's a flowmaster with a single inlet with duel outlet. Thanks again. Ps. It's a Screw with a 5.4.

Get the muffler removed and in it's place install a Y pipe. These trucks sound awesome with stock cats and strait piped. Not super loud but as loud as you can get with the stock catalytic converters!

Headers will make a huge difference, with high flow cats

I was seriously considering doing that. I'd really like to do headers but it kinda looks like a b**tch to do

I like to do work on my truck myself just cause I don't like pay somebody else to mess it up. If anybody has any suggestions as to what headers to get and any steps to take to make sure I don't break off the studs. I'm looking for cheaper but good. If u can find that

It's just leveled with the t-bars. I tried to put on a 2 1/2 front and 1 in. rear but that didn't work so well

Like the way it sits as is. Why didn't the 2-1/2in lift go so well?
