Exclamation I need power

Hey, I have decided that before i do any more lifting of my 2002 5.4 FX4 i will make it have as much power as possible. I have a three inch body lift waiting to be put on. But now i want to really want to wake my truck up. Any websites with low prices and ideas on what i can bolt on or change to help aceive this goal would be greatly thanked.

Tuner, CAI, Exhaust are on the lower end (but still too expensive for me =p) and then you can go the way of superchargers, professional tunes, bigger throttle bodies, intake manifolds, long tube headers etc.

Pretty much all the bolt on stuff... e-fans, pulleys, and the items listed above. I would'nt shell out a whole lot for a tuner unless you want to recalibrate the speedo for larger tires. I've had the Superchips and Hypertech and unless you swap over to 93 octane gas on one of their tunes, you won't notice anything. I've heard good things about the Edge though.

If it's lift and tires you're preparing for... I think a locker and gears would be a far better investment

about the gears when you throw on the bigger triers you are going to loss a lot of that power but if you get just the right gears you can get back that power and maybe a bit more. like 35's with 4.56 gears will get you a lot of push. but if your planning on doing a professional tune i would wait tell after the tires and gears.

Get an EDGE Evo.. you'll feel a good difference in power.. if your doing a 3" BL and 35s.. regear to 4.56.. but if your in HS.. and have little money you can't do much mods... so look for an EDGE on Craigslist for cheap..

Alright so i am hearing that the Edge Evo programmer is the way to go. I am plannin on saving parts of my monthly income for different truck upgrades. And i got close the $2,000 already saved up. Will a supercharger hurt the engine very much. And i eventuall plan on running 33s. Thank you all for the help. Now time to convince my grandpa that he doesn't need the Edge programmer on his ranger.

A supercharger won't kill the engine depending on how much boost you run but it will drastically shorten the life of the transmission
