Default I Need Help With My Leveling Kit!

Alright guys, and gals, I am in need of some assistance on picking out a leveling kit.
First off, I have a 1998 F150, in 2WD. I originally wanted to get a 3 inch leveling kit, but I have heard that 3 inches is to high, and will mess up your front end, so I opted out on that one. So, now I want a 2.5 inch, but I just read somewhere that 2.5 is to high, and will mess up your front end as well.
Overall, I guess what I am trying to ask is, what is the highest leveling kit, and the biggest tires I can get away with, without messing anything up on my truck?
Pics would be GREATLY appreciated, but any help is also very appreciated!
Thanks, y'all!

IMO 2" lift with either lift spring or coil spacer. is best for stock ride and wearability on balljoints/tierods..etc

you can also ADD a 3-3.5" lift spindle. you CAN use stock shocks with either and both of these kits.

IMO with a 2" level, use stock out back.
with 3" lift use 1-2" block (or AAL or lift shackle)
with 5-5.5" of lift use 4" block (or 2" block and AAL and lift shackle....etc you can do the math)

our trucks come with ~2" of rake, take the front - 2" = amount of lift you need for the rear

my fabtech 7.5" lift with 2" level spacer = 9.5" of lift. I currently have 5" block, AAL and lift shackle to level it out. however soon I will have 5" lift leaves (which I may add a couple from my stock pack for more lift to level it out) and lift shackle
