Well last weekend my hunting buddy shot a buck damn thing ran right past me and wouldn't stop for anything of course I didn't know my buddy had shot him. Ten mins later I get a text from my buddy saying he shot a buck so I told him I think it just ran by me, so I go to his stand we find blood and start to follow. There is so much blood we are at a full walking pace and sure enough we go right by my stand 70 yds later bamm dead deer. Can't believe the damn thing ran probably 300 yds bleeding like he was.

How do you like your Beowulf? And what lower receiver do you have with it? I'm looking to build an AR and was thinking about ordering the Beowulf upper to have some fun with.
As far as hunting goes, no luck yet this year for bow hunting but then again I have only gone 3 times this season, all in the last day and a half. Early rut has started so I plan on going as much as possible before gun season starts in two weeks here in Wisconsin. Pops shot a decent buck and doe already and has seen some nice shooters but all out of range. I haven't had anything in bow range yet, hopefully next week I will have better luck.
Where is everyone else hunting?

Im using a multi caliber PSA lower. Its a real fun gun but the down side is Alexander Arms are a pain in the *** to deal with. I ordered a new mag and a couple boxes of ammo from them on August 3rd. After five phone calls i finally got my mag in two weeks ago. My ammo has beeen backed ordered a couple times and they are saying i wont have it til mid November. They have the pattens on everything for the gun including the ammo so it all comes from them. You can find some ammo sometimes at gun shows but it will only be a box or two. If you do get one be sure to get one with a threaded barrel and put a muzzle brake on it. Your shoulder will thank you.
