Default Hub centric rings...

If I buy a set of wheels that have a bigger hub bore should I consider getting hub-centric rings or will I be alright just to torque my lug nuts correctly (lug-centric)
My truck has 87.0 mm hubs
The wheels Im looking at have 5x135 bolt pattern with a 108.1mm hub bore.

I would buy the rings that way the tire sites correct on the hub. They are pretty cheap and you could probably get away with out using them but I think it not worth the headache of having even the smallest vibration.

Get the rings and save your self a headache and possibly a disaster. It's actually harder than it sounds to get the lugs where they need to be. I did that once in a pinch and tightened them down and as soon as the car rolled a little bit the wheel shifted on the nuts and 3 out of 5 lug nuts were loose again. At this point the wheel was centered correctly and the nuts just had to be tightened but it still could have gone worse.

^ what they said, it doesn't take much of being off-center for nasty vibrations (and more) to occur. A hubcentric ring is a cheap insurance!
