Default In cab light switch.

I have an 03 f150 supercrew xlt. I'm looking for a headlight light switch panel that does NOT have the auto headlight but does have the option for the fog lights with just the parking lights on. People at the parts store look at me like I'm crazy. Rock auto does not define and ford only wants to give me the same one I have

nobody has a factory option for fogs and parking lights. You either have to add a jumper wire or shave the plastic track under the switch to allow you to pull the switch out in parking lights mode

Is that because there's no auto headlight. My super duty had it and I didn't modify anything but it had the auto in the switch.

I'm not sure, I just know it's a favorite mod amongst 10th gen'ers to modify the switch to allow fogs on at all times. Manual lights and auto lights alike. I personally put led bars in place of the fogs so I just wired up an extra switch that what I can turn them on no matter what position my light switch is in. If there was a switch out there for that I'm sure these guys would've been all over it lol

It's crazy, let me know if you find one though. Others may be interested. Me, I didn't put that much thought into it and went for the simple mod that doesn't cost a dime about 10 years ago..done, still works great.

I'm gonna keep looking. Maybe I can find a part number. I don't want to do the mod. the whole thing is kinda screwed up. It wants to fall apart. And I figured since I needed to replace it I'd just try to put that one in. I'm also afraid of bumping and not noticing and draining my battery

What did you do Jbrew? Did you modify the switch internally? I attempted that on my original switch, but failed miserably. It took me forever to find one at the wrecking yard, so I haven't played with the new one yet. I swear someone that works at the yard here is pulling those switches before they even put the truck out in the yard.

you have to do a mod. I have one with fogs and auto lamps only position of pulls out on is low beam. Not auto. My dad has a 03 also and his does not have autolamps but does have fogs. His only pulls out on low beams also.
