Motor shall be very similar to the FT-260SA (mabushi nichibo, Kinmotor, mitsumi, etc), but with the knurled 2mm x 6mm shaft and the back endbell shaft dia of 6.23mm aprox. the FT260 has this endbell dia in 8.6mm which will not fit the actuator case motor position holder. All others dimensions are ok. Shafts always can be cut and modified, and new brushes. endbells and cores may be installed in the old case as I used to do with my Toyotas.

I found a motor on this link with a partial number but they do not have it and it is 5VDC (20730-351735)....Mine is 12VDC (20730-8A1458)...

1. Cut corners on screw holes seem and pry a little. I used a hard blade from a paint scrapper and tap with small hammer to rally open each corner.
2. Unclip upper guide and carefully pry around corners with small or jewelry screw driver
3. If you will change only the endbell assembly, do not remove the gear…just clean the commutator with fast evaporating solvent for electronics. Sand it with a gentle action and very fine grain sand paper and clean with small amount solvent again and dry it. This is what I did. I use a new mabushi FT-280SA endbell assembly. The only problem you will find is that the endbell has 8.6mm in dia and mine has 6.2. So I used a core file to file the two sides, about 1mm each side, that will fit the actuator cover at the endbell. Everything worked great.
4. If you will replace the entire motor, remove motor and its gear and install it to the new motor. You will need a small puller and/or a very small punch. I used a long noses pliers with a small pry bar for clips to remove the gear. To install it I ensured proper fit and then small taps to the gear using a flat surface until reach almost flat with the knurled shaft.
5. Install new Motor and lubricate with plastic lubricator all gear as necessary.
6. Close case and secure it with 4 ea. small self tap screws (round Head #6 dia.(3.5mm dia) x ½” (12mm length)). I used a small drill bit about #5 (0.120” dia or 3mm dia) to drill out complete the cover holes to ensure the screw will not break the plastic. Secure with very light torque. Or use cold spot welding with epoxy. Or secure it with regular nuts and screws. Note: Some people may suggest using plastic ties to hold the two parts together after using self tap screws. I used a tie on the clips area to reinforce that area to ensure the actuator case is not open in that area, since there is not options to secure it with a screw.
7. Test It before install to ensure proper mechanism engagement and operation.
8. Remember to install the nut rivet (or screw) in the actuator metal base, before install the base to the actuator. Or use the correct ¼” rivet with the big riveter as I did.

Valid Motor numbers will be Nichibo DC-260S-20140N, DC-260ST-12300N, DC-260ST-16240N. All numbers could be valid for this application. However, must be ordered with knurled shaft or will need glue in the shaft to secure the gear and to avoid slipage. Other Mabuchi motors (perhaps Fc-280, but is bigger) or nichibo UC-260 could be valid fit if altered to fit within the case...Example, changing to soldered terminals and performing welding to the correct connectors in the case and altering the case to make it fit. This could save you about $140 in the four doors, but you need to work it arround.

See Attach unde DC-260 to compare dimension with original motor labeled 20730-8A1458...The Nichibo Dc-260 shall fit without any trouble or modifications....it is exactly same dimensions and same push on terminals.
