How many miles does your 1997-2003 have on it?

1999 4.6LXL 275,000 K replaced Starter, alternator, normal were and tear front end work Michigan roads rough, wire to starter and fuel pump both ran jumpers wires.
Grew up in a general motors family, nocking ford my whole life. This truck has towed my fathers 06 chevy HD 2500 more than once. His truck is still far superior.
Still running strong regular oil changes with Valvoline 10W30

Almost 150k on my 1999 5.4-
Replaced alternator, plugs, COPs, injectors and the usual upkeep with these special mods-
Heater core delete- Leaked at the 4 year mark and we live in Florida- for 6 weeks of cold a year, I looped the heater hoses.=left
Blinking O/D light shift pack- Every once in a while the dang limp mode comes on.=left
Lathe turned suicide door cable holders- Made me some cable holders when the plastic ones gave up=left
Upgraded window motors- Old ones gave up the ghost about 10 years in=left
Upgraded silicone windshield gasket- When it rains, it poured=left
Upgraded silicone 3rd brake light gasket- Took me a while to figure out where all that water was coming from.=left
The paint on mine wasn't the greatest- washed/waxed and rusted and its a Florida truck- Guess Ford green isn't the Sun's color-

I’m at 344,000 on the original 4.6 v8 in my 50th anniversary 1998 Extended cab 2wd. Normal wear and tear accessories replaced. Tranny rebuilt a couple of times. Doesn’t smoke / burn oil. Uses 1 to 1.5 qts between changes every 3-4K miles.

Wow! nice job. I'm at 48,350 on my 98 Lariat with the 4.6 so it looks like I have a long way to go to meet your mark.

2004 fx-4
223,000 on my 2004 5.4L FX-4. Rebuilt motor, rebuilt transmission, new battery, new fuel pump, new alternator, new ball joints. Truck still looks like new and has the factory plastic on the carpets front and back!
Love my silver FX-4!
