How many miles does your 1997-2003 have on it?

2002 F-150 XLT 4x4: 302,000 miles on 5.4 2v, 4R70W, H9 rear (3.55 TractionLoc)
Underbody
Mechanics at the local dealer rave about these earlier 5.4 2V's, seeing them come in with 600,00+ on them. Just loud when cold and plugs are a hassle.

I had 175,000 on my 2001 F-150 XLT. It dripped a small amount of oil so I had to add 1 quart about every 1000 miles. It started every time I tried, and it was reliable. Then last month someone in a Chevy Suburban went through a stop sign and we collided. Totaled my F-150 and totaled her Suburban. It's been paid off for 10 years and I had planned to keep it as long as it kept going. I have no doubts that I could have put another 100,000 miles on it. I did not want to take on another payment, so I now have a brand new 2018 F-150 XLT. Beautiful truck, rides quite and smooth. 4 door crew cab 2.3 Liter Eco Boost engine, 10 speed transmission, 20" wheels, Michelin tires all the way around. Love the truck, but I would gladly switch back to my 2001 with no payments, no oil on the driveway, and no pains from the collision.

2001 XLT - Final Ride With 224,xxx Miles
This week I had to give up my 2001 XLT after 17 years and 224,000 miles. It was such a reliable vehicle! What a work horse. It was my first truck and I bought it new from the dealer. It had the 4.6L, automatic with the Off Road package. Nothing fancy, but always did the job. Even though it still ran, all those years of Midwest winters and a leaky exhaust manifold gasket finally took its toll. These are awesome trucks. If you take care of them, they’ll take care of you.

2003 F-150 scab 4.6L auto 4x4
155 plus thousand miles, original auto trans and numerous other original parts. Been running/shifting superb for several years, but suddenly decided not to start this evening for some unknown reason, so I'm not too happy about that. I'll try to resolve the issue tomorrow.
