Well maybe so a little but I live in the country and was pulling that much UN-knowingly on the 22K load. See I am a Roofing contractor and had a large dump trailer on a job that had 2 layers of shingkes on it and I told my guys not to fill it to thr top before I could haul the first load. Well guess what happened??.. They put all of them in there and I had to take it like it was I knew I had a load but not that much. The old Boy just pulled it a little slugish at first then once I got it on the hiway i could only go about 45 mph max. The trailer would start swaying if i went any faster. Then once I got to the Landfill and went across the scales the guys running the landfill bet money i could not get it up the hill to the top were i had to dump it at. Well it dug in and then he pulled on up there in low gear did not even have to lock in the 4wd until i got to the top in the soft dirt and was backing in. This truck has honestly paid for its self many times over now with 287K miles on it she still running good. I think I will need to change the tranny fluid again soon it has been about 50k miles since i did so...
Any tranny fluid suggestions out there???? The last time i used reg old Mercron Dextron 3.. Wander if there is anything better with this age on it??

A lil more info on my truck: it is a 4x4, 7700 series and (like I posted) has 185,900 miles on it. It has been in family since new, just not owned by me. It has NEVER had any problems. It was maintained on a schedule like clockwork, oil changed; filters replaced, lubed, fluids toped off, etc. And yes many of those miles were off road. I expect to get another 100k on this sweet ride. While I am not a hunter (my family is) there are many huge elk in Oregon. I used to live in Seaside and we had to run em out of our yard. My uncles "bagged" a couple every year. But now i am tearing my hair out trying to figure my seat problem. Thanks to all who posted.
