How long has your F150 lasted??
I have a 1998 F150 4x4 4.6 V8 with some custom work. I just wanted to know how many other people have an f150 that has lasted as long as mine has. I have 275,000 miles on it now and it is a BUILT FORD TOUGH truck. We use it for everything, including a lot of towing and hauling. It has the original 4.6 motor in it and everything is the factory except for a new transmissions 2years ago. I was just curious to see if anybody else has had this luck with their truck like I have.

98 F150 mileage
I have a '98 F150 4.6L with 299,400 miles on original motor and transmission. Had 172K when I bought it 4 years ago. Worst repair: heater core Most expensive: upper/lower ball joints. Always use Motorcraft plugs and wires, change oil at 3K, Transmission at 35K. Still starts and runs good. I'm going for 400K!!!

There was a 98' Lariat ext cab 2wd with a 4.6 on ebay a few years back rocking 527k miles, motor ahd locked up but allegedly the transmission was original. Leather steering wheel and seats were pretty far gone though.
