Personally I would just crank them to level at 24.25" like I said. That's where mine is at, and it doesn't ride that rough at all. It still rides smoother than all of the solid axle SuperDuty's we have. The only time you notice how stiff it is is when you go off a curb or small drop of some sort, it's pretty bouncy then, but otherwise not too bad.

Just dont go past 24.25" from center of hub to the edge of the fender flare. Typically @ 24.5" and 3" rear block the truck will still be level.

I personally am set @ 24.75 with 7700 tb, 7700 rear leafs and 3" block and my truck is still level, but I am replacing upper ball joints, and outer tie rods every year.

Torsion bars are only on 4wd for his year model. 2wd have the coil over spacer you are thinking of.

I cranked my tbars to 23.5 if i remember correctly cause at the time i wanted a little free lift but not a stiff ride and got the wheels aligned. Id hate to crank them more and have to get another alignment. Do you have to get alignments with kits too?

You always have to align after adjusting them
