make sure you have everything before you start. heres a list of what you'll need
-Crimpers/Wire Strippers
-Butt Connectors
-Harness for the F150(not just the one that came withe the cd player)
-Zip ties (to bundle the wires)
-Install kit
Take your time and match the sold colors to each other and the striped with each other. easy job shouldnt take more than 30 minutes

PS if you wanna do it ghetto and dont have the money for all that just strip the wires twist together and put electrical tape on it ** I dont recommend this but its Cheap**

Buy it from crutchfield.com it's a little more expensive but they give you a factory pigtail that plugs right into the factory connector, instructions, those little things that you use to take the factory radio out, and mounting brackets... it's worth it in the time you would spend trying to buy everything separate... They send you everything you will need to install and if you have any problems they have very good customer service...

its very simple as long as you have the wiring adapter and the install kit once you get the old one out all you do is match the colors and connect them so easy even a caveman could do it

Honestly, the hardest part is getting the radio out if you don't have a radio removal tool. Everything else from there is easy going. Simply match your solids with solids and striped with stripes, tape all the extra wires together. Use butt connectors that crimp at the ends, much easier and a lot cleaner than electrical tape.

Good luck!

But you need the pieces to fill the dash hole... crutchfield gives you those for FREE
