I know with 8" I could fit 37"s. And I know someone has a 2wd with fiberglass and a 3" spindle with 35s. So I'd have 5" more than that setup, I was thinking of either 4.88 or 5.13 with a locker.

Well does anyone have a of a 97-03 with tires around 41"?

Yeah I'd just sell the 41s for profit lol. Anything short of a full SAS, custom suspension lift and upgraded axles would be a huge waste of money

Bro those tires will destroy your truck, it's not worth it i don't care if you regear or not, tha entire. Drivetrain and suspension will hate you.

If you wanna go big on a 2wd do the fab tech and body lift and go 37s with a regear. Those are the biggest I'd go on a 2wd. Guessing you have a 10 bolt rear end too.

I wouldn't go over a 35 on any independent front suspension like on these trucks. Just my 2 cents.

1.Do you know what 41s will do to stock gears, your transmission and pretty much everything else on the truck? Even what I'm running is too big and it's taking a toll on my F-150.
2.Unless you drive it onto a trailer to take it to a show then drive it off, you're gonna end up spending thousands fixing parts that break due to half ton axles.
3. I don't think you can fit them on a 2wd with any off the shelf lifts
4.To do it right, just the axles are gonna cost you a good $4,000. You need to swap in 1 tons PLUS I'd say at least 4.88 gears.
5. If it were a four wheel drive you could probably fit them with a 6" suspension,3" body and some trimming,if not bump it up to an 8" suspension. But,just because you can fit them doesn't mean it's a good idea.

So,if you want to spend that kind of money on a 2WD truck I guess go for it,but I don't see the point at all.
You can pick up a Dana 60 High Pinion front and a 10.25" rear for less than 4,000 dollars :p

I just picked up my Dana 60 yesterday now the hard part is getting it under the truck, it's not the fabricating part of it, it's the weight of that damn thing!!! Took 4 of us to get it in and I still almost burst a nut lol
