How to fit 41" tires?
I have a Ext. 2wd. I don't care that its a 2wd and I'm getting a locker(mentioned for ride height)
I'm getting a awesome deal on 41s and was wondering how much lift I'd need. I'm thinking about 8" up front a 6" rear plus I'm getting baja fiberglass fenders that should really help. Do yall think that'd be enough clearance?
Any tips for that setup? Thanks!

Your guna need like 12" some kind of FTS or custom solid axle swap lift on a 2wd to fit 41" tires. The biggest production lift for 2wd is 7.5" and that fits 35s maybe 37s. So maybe 7.5" suspension + 3" body + glass fenders. Your looking at about $5 grand at the least in lift just maybeee to fit those tires, then $800 - $1500 in gears to be able to turn them.
Also on another forum I saw a guy who just barely fit 39.5" on a 7.5" suspension + a 3" body so I guess 41s would maybe fit with fiberglass fenders and that same lift setup.

Unless you're getting paid about $5,000 to take the tires this is pointless.
1.Do you know what 41s will do to stock gears, your transmission and pretty much everything else on the truck? Even what I'm running is too big and it's taking a toll on my F-150.
2.Unless you drive it onto a trailer to take it to a show then drive it off, you're gonna end up spending thousands fixing parts that break due to half ton axles.
3. I don't think you can fit them on a 2wd with any off the shelf lifts
4.To do it right, just the axles are gonna cost you a good $4,000. You need to swap in 1 tons PLUS I'd say at least 4.88 gears.
5. If it were a four wheel drive you could probably fit them with a 6" suspension,3" body and some trimming,if not bump it up to an 8" suspension. But,just because you can fit them doesn't mean it's a good idea.
So,if you want to spend that kind of money on a 2WD truck I guess go for it,but I don't see the point at all.

Don't listen to them! You got this man.
Bigger = better. 41's are peanuts.

Just stack a bunch more disks in for the bodylift! You could make all the other guys in Walmart parking lot furiously jealous!
