Default Worth the time & money or NOT

I own a 99 F150 with a 4.6. It has 190,000 miles on it and I am wanting to know if it is even worth my time, effort and money to try and upgrade performance? Exhaust, tuner, intake, etc.....?? I like the truck and it is a solid truck. Don't really want to purchase another truck so I would like to see what you guys think. What is my best move from here? Thanks.

Probably a good bit would say yes. Only if you are willing though. Some of the mods the guys have done on these trucks are incredible. Brownings, 01f150, and 99longhorn are just a few examples. If you truly enjoy the truck, and plan to keep it for a while, I'd go for it. I get a little more comfortable on cash, I'm going to get an SCT tuner from franchi. I've got enough for one, just a little too close for me...

My truck has 176k prob more like 180 (it's had a lift and 35s 90% of its life) and in the last 3k miles I've installed a tuner and underdrive pullies the guy who had it before me had just put on true duals and a cai. I have a set of headers just waiting to be put on to. It's all about what you want I know for me customizing keeps me from getting bored with a vehicle making me not want to sell it or trade it in because it can almost become a whole nother truck

If you like the truck and don't plan on getting another I'd say go for it if its worth it to you. Make it more drivable, and perform better.

I got my 02 screw with 150,000 and since then I've done E-fan, K&N cai, SCT livewire ts and exhaust is in the plan. I thought about under drive pullies but have not gotten any info good or bad on them yet. Just my.02
