If the fame has a 4x4 tranny and a transfer case it should work.. the 2x4 computer is the same and if its a on floor shift 4x4 u need to cut a hole and get some vac seilonids that are on the right side on the fire wall and some more electrical stuff

okay sweet cause i was out at a local yard today and they said if i pulled the cab off and everything else i could have the rear axle front end and tranny for like 500 bucks so i guess ill take the vac lines. this one is a floor shift also where and what is all the electrical stuff. also the best part is its got a fabtech lift already on it

Alot more is need then just the mechanical stuff. You will need the entire chassis wiring harness along with the GEM to control the front diff. Also the PCM will need to be recalibrated because it will not lock the torque converter while in 4wd. And it will stay in gear longer to use the available torque.
Being it has a manual t-case it would be easier to just use the t-case with none of the electronics, and find a front diff out of a A4WD 98-02 Ford Expedition of Navigator because they used a Trac lock up front istead of it being a open diff.

i would rather not do that cause they said i can have any of the parts i need but not the 5.4 motor they are selling that they only paid 400 at auction so i dont mind the 500 for the frame and whatever else i need, also where can i get my PCM recaled

Insurance wise it will come up as a 2wd drive truck. But you can apply for a home built title after it has gone through a safety inspection. Im not familiar with the laws in you state. If you apply for a dedicated title you will find it more expensive to cover. I would just a SAS it. It would be a lot simpler and You'd be a lot happier in the long run.

actually be easier and cheaper for me to swap the frame cause i can weld but not enough to make me feel comfortable welding my suspension, but i will eventually do that as soon as i got some really good skills. i can also get this project done in a weekend unlike a SAS would take me a couple weeks and lots more money cause i would need all the suspension parts like the AXLES, LEAFS, NEW STEERING SET UP basically everything, but it will eventually happen cause i dont have that kind of money now since im only in highschool as a junior. SIDE NOTE: so can i get away without saying a thing to ins or state
