I just got a pair of PVC holders and bolted them to the side. I also use them to fly my flags

Another option. Its a pre-built kit and very strong.

Not sure where you shop but.....

Using Home Depot pricing:

Tees at 7 x $1.70 = $11.90
Crosses at 2 x $3.10 = $6.20
Caps at 7 x $1= $7.00
20' of schedule 40 pvc pipe $11.00
10' of schedule 20 pvc pipe $4.00
PVC glue if you dont have it $12.00

I come up with $52.10 but even if your prices are better, $40 and its all set up, designed, no big mess cutting PVC, wasted material on mistakes trying to figure it out, and proven seems pretty good to me

Any racks out there that the rods aren't sticking way up in the air? Around here to get to the fishing spots you'd rip those rods right out of the back
