I'll be jerry rigging part of a new radiator support this spring once I get time. She's about to let go on the driver side.

Default Homemade Tailgate Step

Well, I've since replaced this with a black steel draw bar (~$18), for a little better crash protection, and I can easily step on it to step over the tailgate.

But before this, I had made the step below. Pressure treated wood, pilot holes and countersunk 'em, screwed them together, drilled the 5/8" hole for the pin, the wife painted it, except for the face, where I put on a piece of 3M grip tape (left over from the roll I did the running boards with).

Bubble gum, make sure you get the sugar free, otherwise it'll start to deteriorate on ya.
