Fordmotorsport's KR
Starting this because my other thread is way too long, plus it's about another truck. This is a 2001 screw KR. This won't be getting too modified like my last F150. Plans include a rough country leveling kit 2"/1" just enough clearance for the 285's. IMO, kr's are badass as is so the outside won't see much upgrades. A billet grille, clear corners, and ??.
In the process of rebuilding a DOHC for it. Already purchased MAHLE pistons (.030 over)(10.5:1cr) and Manley rods. So I will have a stout bottom end. I'm still up in the air with what to do with the heads but they are definitely getting new followers, valve stem seals, and lifters if nothing else. Debating the comp cams 106100's(1200-5400rpm) but unsure still. I'm using the factory navi intake as well but don't know if the cams will be happy about that? I will get some pics posted later.

No, they need a little tlc. I went and got some Lexor cleaner and conditioner. Whoever had it let them go. They aren't ripped but just look dry? I just bought the new leather for the steering wheel. A guy on eBay sells the leather and states it's the same so I'll give it a go. Looks nice.
