Yeah they swore to me to stay away from em. I still don't see why cause I've had zero problems with mine. And I've had em about 7 months now. I'm actually about to order some more so my fog lights will match. But yes, they are muchhhh brighter than stock!

I have HIDs in lightning headlights and they are very bright and impossible to aim. They glare really bad and the light scatters all over. And the high beam sucks. I get flashed all the time with my dims on and no that's not cool. Its inconsiderate just like driving slow in the fast lane. Im about to order fx-r projectors to do a retro-fit into my lighting housing. Projectors are the only proper (not to mention legal) way to do HIDs. Till then I had to switch back to halogens. HIDs are NOT made for reflected housings. Be kind to other drivers. Get some silverstar ultra bulbs or get projectors and do it right.

I went from hids to silver star ultras and these headlights and the light pattern is way better and I like it much more then the hid lights.i didn't realize how much the hid bulbs scattered light till I went back with the ultras. My head lights actually shine out far now lol. I will post up some hid pics vrs silver star ultras... And then with and without my hid converted Hellas

You don't need a year, go with the 35..55 watt is too hot and might melt your housing. The higher wattage are more for off road use.

Ok so I think the first is high beam and Hellas second is low beam and Hellas 3rd is low beam 4th is high beam 5th is single beam hid 6th is single beam hid and Hellas. The first four I just now took and I was driving down the road while doing so so it really don't do them much justice. I will get some better ones if y'all want I just couldn't stop in the middle of the road a car was further back behind me.

I also tried to do the pics in the same spot I did the hids in a while back. The pics really make the light output dim. I got to get better ones for y'all
