Angry Help! Transmission problem

I have an 03 f150 4.2l, today the cooler line came off while driving. Luckily I was right by my house so didn't drive it too long. It lost a lot of fluid so I reattached line and added the correct amount of fluid. Now it will not go into reverse, when you shift it to neutral it drives. Also it doesn't shift correctly when in overdrive but if you turn the overdrive off it works fine. The engine light came on but I disconnected battery and connected it back the light went off. I'm at a loss on what it could be. Please help!

well..... next time you blow a tranny line.. shutter down... if you blow a line... that means from the time the line blows intill you shut it off...... it has no fluid... becouse the fluid has to return...

might drop the pan and change filter... add more new fluid... something could have got stopped up and that might have even caused the trans to build pressure and blow the line.. you never no... be sure not to over fill or underfill...

I haven't checked the filter yet. I will be checking the shifter cable, sensors, and shift indicator today. A lot of fluid got all over the motor and tranny so maybe the sensors/switches got wet. The cooler line separated where the metal line connected to the rubber piece below the radiator. I found that where the lines were bolted to the motor was disconnected and bouncing around. I believe this caused the line to loosen. So hopefully one of these will fix the problem.
