Help with ruined paint on my 2001
Hey guys! I have a question about the paint on my 2001 F150 Screw. The paint seems to have faded in spots, and I'm wondering what steps I could use to get to paint back to normal. Attached are pictures of the paint. Thanks for the help.

Looks like bird Dukie to me? Those dots right?
No cheap fix. Few grand for a new paint job.

Just embrace the bad paint, don't take pictures closer than 6 feet, use Filters (to bug Tackle ), and just don't worry about it.
My paint has bothered me from day one with all the spider cracks but I just accepted it. Once I decide how Permanent the truck is to me, if it's a forever truck, I'll drop the $5,500 I was quoted for a full paint job.
Alternatively, a good auto detailer will be able to work miracles on most anything.

Looks like tree sap damage to me. Not really fixable. You may be able to make it much less noticable with a decent pollish, something with a decent cutting action should make a big difference.
Or as others have said, use filters to **** off Tackle and make your truck look better. WIN WIN in anyone's book.

I don't get the point of using filters when showing your truck to a bunch of other guys. Some who are enthusiasts, some who only want help figuring out an issue.
We're not teenage girls (far as I can tell) trying to filter out a zit that showed up on prom night.
Each to their own.

My truck is about a 10' truck. It looks good from 10' away lol.
One could try to get touch up paint and spray over it, if you have the patients and the skill to blend it in you can make it look like it never happened. One of the guys I worked for did miracles on his daughters car with the spray touch up paint you find at auto zone.
