Don't do the whole truck... just don't. Unless it's a hunting truck that gets abused in the woods. A quick google search turned up these pics... last one is even your color

Too nice of a color IMO to bedline the entire truck. The trucks pictured look fine and even offer a level of protection. I did all my plastics because I like they way it looks. That's as far as I went though.

definitly not doing the entire teruck i dont like the way that looks the reason im ding it at all is because i have some rot on my bed that im gonna fix but dont feel like paying someone to paint it so the bed liner is being done to cover the body work and also for some protection

Yeah it ties it in nice... but I think you're truck is dark enough it wouldn't be as odd as say the white(silver?) truck would be without it.

You can also try plastidip to see if you like the idea of the black stripe and if you do peel it off and bedline it.

Yeah I bedlined the plastic fenders on my truck cz my bigger tires were chewing them up but that's all I did. I plastidipped my front and rear bumpers for a while too tho

As you said.. Berliner is permanent lol you'd probably have to scuff up the chrome real good first. Yeah don't think bedliner sprayed directly onto chrome would work. Could always try selling the chrome bumpers and buy some cheaper painted bumpers; might make some money or at least break even on the project.
There's a trucker or harley guy somewhere out there having a heart attack just knowing someone is thinking about covering up chrome LOL

If you like it that's all that counts, as long as you never plan on selling your truck, or don't care if it reduces the resale value somewhat.

Personally I think bed liner on the outside of vehicles looks dumb. There's a galleries of pictures out there of people who have painted their whole vehicles with bedliner, and it looks like crap. But so what if it makes them happy it's their truck.

Some people like to start doing all the stupid things to their trucks that they can wasting money on this and that just because they've got a few dollars to spare. In the 1970s and 80s it was ginormous triple lite bars and 44" tires and even multiple Flags. And naming the trucks and putting windshield stickers on them with the trucks name on it. ....... Ah, the days of the solid axles and easy 12 inch lifts. When any fool with a few dollars for Springs and blocks and shackless could destroy their truck.

And yeah if anyone fly a flag from their truck I'm going to make fun of them. And I'm not the only one.

PS that bed liner stuff fades in the Sun.
