Hey guys I have been gone for while but this morning I went to leave for work and my truck wont start!! It is turniing over fine just seems like its not getting gas. I have listened for the sound of the fuel pump and it doesnt sound right to me but I am no expert. Any ideas?? Also how hard is it to switch fuel pump??

 

one trick i have used over the years to help to figure out if its a fuel pump or not dont know if it will work 100 percent for sure on the ford trucks but worked on many other vechicles i had get someone to turn the engine over and get underneath with a hammer and hit the bottome of the tank a few times and see if it starts if it should only run a few minutes and stall again and you will know its the fuel pump it seems like they start loosing prime and by hitting the tank they get their prime back for a minute or two hope this workes as good for you as it did for me just a redneck mechanic here lol
