Exclamation HELP-exhaust pricing

i am looking at the 40 or 50 series flow master but now i can't decide how i want it if i want them out the back or just swap the muffler out.

my questional is what will it cost about? if i go out the back and a muffler swap

2. if i cut right at the muffler and put them out the back will it improve or destroy my mpg

i dont know if u want me answering any more of ur exhaust questions but i would recommend the whole cat-back, i.e. new muffler and new pipes back to dual pipes. i did it at a meineke auto place near me and they f**ked me for close to $500, now i didnt do any research and the work was pretty damn good. it shouldnt cost u more then that for flowmaster 40, new pipes, 2 chrome tips, and labor, i would say if u can get it more like 300-400 then u got it made

as far as cutting it at the muffler (question #2) do u mean no muffler and straight pipe it?

you should be able to get the muffler for about 100, and the tips for another 100, then the pipe and labor should cost you about 200.

you could probably cut everything off from the muffler back before you take it to the shop to cut down on the labor even more.

for about 20 bucks you can replace the current muffler with a piece of pipe and clamp it together.
