Truck wont start, security light is blinking, also im hearing a rare clicking inside the truck, but it just started the other day i thought it was my sons toy till now please help

 

Tell us what make, model, year,- then will the engine turn and not fire,or just not do anything.
Does it click when you attempt to start it or does it click continuously
How old is the battery?
Need a little more info!

New bat, 01 f150 xlt 5.4, it will run if u put either or gas on air filter but will die shortly after, i have got it running on its own but when it finally got running the security light blinked for a while with it running

 

So its cranking and running now?

 

It will start and run intermittently im bout to try it now actually

No lights or nothin left on the key position looks like its off all the way,
