So looks like my 03 screw is gonna need the headgaskets done. Im looking to just pick up a set of rebuilt heads and gaskets with new bolts and replace. Since it will be apart, any suggestions for upgrades? Crown vic heads, pi cams etc???

Actually a buddy of mine has a few 4.6l laying around from crown victorias. An 05,06 and an 08. The 08 has 50,000 miles on. Any ideas what is the difference?

So we are not sure if it truly has a head gasket leak? Are you using coolant? Is your oil frothy? Did you replace with a NEW thermostat?

3 thermostats so far lol, no oil in anti freeze, no cel codes, no anti freeze in the oil, no smoke out the tailpipe, Im stumped. Does anyone have the manifold diagram with the thermostat , i read that there is supposed to be an o-ring and the gasket between the housing?? Ordered a motorcraft thermostat and housing with a new temp sensor

There is no gasket, but there is an o-ring that goes in there. Do you have enough fluid? and a 195* stat?

Fluid is at the correct cold level. Planning on a complete flush with the parts replacement. Any other ideas?
