Who has the best price for cats. My son has a 2002 F150 with the 5.4. We can get under and cut away or weld , so price is important to him. Every penny saved and labor is free!! Thanks for help.

If your state allows delete all 4 cats. I did.

Id be cautious deleting them, damned EPA and the Feds have rules too... Summarized as 'you can't alter or remove a functioning CAT'. Seems you may be ok, but hell for the sake of the environment I like to enjoy and me not wanting an alphabet agency knocking on my door, I'd use caution.

(Very low likelihood of them even knowing and then even trying to do something if you did delete them, but I'm all about staying low profile, off the radar.)

Good luck passing emissions without them.

The 1999 I bought back in the spring. All of them are gone of it.Only has a Flowmaster muffler with 2 openings out the back of it. When I get the motor in. Will be taking it and getting new pipes from the muffler back. Hope there's no issues.
Good part is we have no check's here in the country.

lol,

I didn't even know about emissions test and having to pass them and all until I started reading car/truck forums. I live in florida and nowhere around here to we have those issues.
