Default Heater Core Location

Having a little trouble figuring out where the heater core is for my '98 F-150 STX. When I bought it last week, they guy selling it to me said that it's behind the glove compartment area and one of the guys that I work with told me yesterday that it's somewhere under the hood. Now my head's f***ing spinning. Does anyone know where the hell it is and how to get to it?

Its right in the middle of the dash. You have to take the whole dash apart to get to it.

its definatly under ur dash and is usaly accesed from the passenger side and that invovles most of the time removing ur glove compartment. as for exact removal instructions u would need too consult a Haynes manual or google it. i cant tell u how its done on this truck cuz i havent had too do it yet.

You gotta pull the whole dash, search "replace heater core" or something like that.
