heater hose clamps
There are a pair of pliers that have a cable and a slide bracket for those clamps. Check out the linkhttp://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/OBJECTS/62000/61945.JPG

I usually go to the hardware store and get garden hose repair fittings the metal ones. U need 2 to join the hoses back together and one that U can hook a garden hose to then just slice both hoses in the middle hook up the garden hose flush it then hook em back together. dont forget hose clamps

The inlet hose goes from the heater core, down the backside of the engine, where it attaches to a pipe that goes under the intake through the valley to the water pump.
The outlet hose goes to the front of the intake manifold over the head of bank 1.
They sell a cheap flush and full kit by prestone at Walmart. It has a T joint that you put into the outlet hose that hooks to your garden hose with a back fill valve.
Yes it's 5/8 ID heater hose.

You can flush through either side of the heater hose...

I found it easier to disconnect both heater hoses from the engine and use a hand spray gun on a garden hose with a nozzle that fits in the ID of the hose and flushed it that way, took maybe 10 mins total just my 2 cents.
