Heated seat trouble shoot
hey guys , just wondering your thoughts on another issue I’ve had with my rig , both heated seats do not work . The indicator light comes on for about a half a second and then goes out. Has anybody had this happen before , Should I be looking at fuses or be looking in a different direction ? Thanks

Also in my last post one of the forum members was asking if I was some dude that keeps making a new profile all the time and asking the same question over and over again, I am not that person I assure you. I’m on this forum because it is a excellent source of information for trouble shooting issues with my truck.

Yup, the element ends up with a short in it and you get the symptoms you describe. The OEM part number is no longer made. You could look into replacing them with some type of aftermarket. I don't have too much cold weather so I have never bothered with mine (drivers side is out, pass side still works).
