Default Headlight adjustment

On the 1997 F150 there’s two adjustment screws on the back of each headlight bracket. For the example, on the drivers side bracket which screw would adjust the headlight up or down.

Welcome to the forum. Turn one and you'll notice it moving one way or the other. One is for vertical adjust, the other is for horizontal adjust. Hand turn it, don't use a drill or something like that unless you like having a bad time. LOL

Also, I’d recommend getting the headlight adjustment tool. I believe most any parts shop has it on the shelf. I’m sure you can cobble something up, but it’s tight squeeze behind the headlights and I wasn’t wasting time making something work.
