hello, i have a 97 ford f150 manufactured in 6/96 and i ordered a new header panel from ebay for my truck so that i can fit aftermarket headlights. i got a header panel for a 98 f150 because quite a few people on here said that would work. i need to know if anyone has had experience with changing their header panel and if so tell me if it works out. im so scared that it wont fit.

Its very simple and it will work.I had a early 97 previously and changed out the entire front end for a 99.

you have a 6/96 & earlier model?? and everything fit ok when you changed out the entire front end?

Had. My first F150 was a 6/96. Everything fit fine.

Yeah.... that conversation in your previous thread. It got confusing because AK was talking about the grille being different. The header panel is the same 98-03. It fits all of them, including your 6/96 truck.
