Default Head Gasket Sealers

Anyone tried these sealers. Steel Seal, Blue devil type stuff? I know I should just replace the gasket but that isn't really feasible for me right now.

Looks like my idle problem maybe a Head gasket leak.

I have replaced the IAC, Cleaned the MAF and the throttle body. Checked all my vacuum hoses.

Id through it on craigslist and see what you can get for it. That's what I did for mine, but it wasn't on there very long before it got way worse. Bars is good though. If you don't plan on keeping it

Feasabile for you is to try and seal the leak and sell it to someone without telling them. Most of the people on this forum would be knocking on your door when the gasket fried and left them stranded, do the right thing and replace the head gaskets.

I used bars in my old 2000 and swapped it off for another 2000 4x4 lol. The dealer found out late like a couple days due to the milky lookin oil and was a mad mother****** lol

Bars is an excellent product that i had nothing but success with on my old truck. $1500 at a shop for head gaskets and within a month they were leaking again. Used the bars head gasket fix and it lasted 11 months before i had to use it again. It can't hurt to try it

Sealers work so so for coolant leaks to the outside. Iv never seen one yet that will seal a leak into the cylinder where there is combustion presure. the best a gaurentee will do is get your money back with a lot of hassel. I have had fair result with a sodium sylicate solution [egg preservetiv] but it will not hold anti freeze and it realey screws up the cooling system. so if your not crooked as he*l and try to sell it stay away from sealers.
