Its the frame horns that are bent 6-7 inches to the side. The transmission fluid cooler and the power steering pump are out and there is a radiator leak, as well. The rest is cosmetic. I'm hoping it can be fixed.

Actually, it runs fine, the engine is perfect. There is no damage past the bumper and the transmission cooler and power steering and frame horns - well, the bumper and grill, etc.

Have your insurance total the truck, get paid in full for it, then buy it from them for whatever they were going to sell the truck to a scrap yard for.

If your frame horns are bent that badly, the rest of the frame is likely tweaked, and that's all it takes. I seriously wouldn't touch that truck with a 10 foot pole at this point. We kept an old Suburban that suffered minor frame damage (that was supposedly fixed) and it was never the same. Chewed through tires, couldn't keep an alignment, creaked, etc. Wish we had just totaled it. Your truck will just be a a headache and money pit from here on out. Plus it isn't worth a dime now, being 14 years old and salvage title.

If you love the truck enough to fix it,have at it. These have two piece frames so you could get the front half of the frame off of another truck if you wanted
