Default Having problems with the battery, I need your help!

Alright, so I have a 98' F150. About two weeks ago my battery light came on so I go to check it out only to find out the alternator I had put in this past January was dead. I thought maybe it was just a defective one or something. I got a new battery just to be safe and went and had the alternator replaced. Driving home today I see the battery light turn on. What could this be? I'm thinking maybe a harness or wire has gone bad becuase I doubt I'd get two dud alternators. What do you think?

Thanks.

They tested it and a 175Amp fuse was blown and the wires were really tight going to the alternator so they put some slack in the wires and replaced that fuse. Hopefully it'll work out.
