Hi
I would say it's the standard factory radio/CD and been there since new
I'll have a little look when I get home from work later, maybe try them swapped round

Thanks guys

You'd think that wouldn't you, I have probably 3 downloaded manuals that aren't specific to my truck, show ton's of stuff I haven't got, seems to be differences between years etc.

To be honest I just find them confusing which is why I asked for

Brian.

Seriously ? The owners manual ?

Did you go to link kd4gij posted up ? It's a year specific manual which invaluable when it comes to fused circuits and relays....among other things. There is just one that covers your year specifically. Reason for that, -Ford re mapped the circuits from model year to model year. It would suck troubleshooting without it lol.

Keep in mind, the info you receive from others may not be specific to your MY. While some circuits might be the same or similar, others may not. I'm not sure if any model year is alike. It's a continuous refining thing with the industry.

kd4gij has the correct link up.

I don't know what I'm missing then guys, I scrolled through 312 pages of the manual for my year truck [2002] and couldn't find a wiring diagram anywhere

I'm really after what fuse/relay provides the power to the blend door actuator and also the third brake light, saying that, if I found a wiring diagram would I understand it

Brian....here is a pdf on the fuses and circuit breakers. This comes from my service manuals. Hope this helps you out.

I tried to upload the wiring manual, but it was too big to go on here. If you want it, PM me your email and I can try and send it thru that way.

I'm not sure why your making this so confusing lol. Do you recall your first post ? Well here it is again, -

The blend door actuator isn't working, no noise at all so could be power supply.

I didn't want to start messing with things I wasn't 100% sure of without checking with you guys first so I've taken a picture of the fuse box under drivers side because there's a lot of empty spaces

Anything missing that should be in there

Thanks
Brian
The link I was referring you to has your MY fuse/relay layout. You asked if something was missing correct ? Well, what's not to understand ? This is the glove box manual that came with the truck when new.

Once you have the owners manual, then go for a more extensive manual that covers wire diagrams. Like a service manual or other 3rd party copy that references the same thing (best to stick with Ford Service or ALLData there).

Between the two manuals, you'll have the ability to see things clearer...well hopefully.

It must be something lost in how we say things mate because the only link I've been able to find in this whole thread I've downloaded and been through, I couldn't see anything that helped [perhaps I'm beyond help].

All I wanted from this really is "brake light gets power from fuse 13" or "door actuator picks supply up from relay number 12".

I'm not an auto electrician, I've never owned an American truck before, half the stuff talked about I've never heard of.

I'm older, cars were simpler when I did lots of work on them

Thanks for all your help, was appreciated

Brian

In the manual you downloaded from my link under " roadside emergences " Is the fuse and relay layout and description of each fuse.
