My trucks seams to run High RPM's before shifting when my a/c is on. Is this a common problem,or is my tranny getting ready to take a dump on me? It shifts pretty good when the a/c is off and has good pick up, but lags when is on. Help

I can honestly say I have never heard of this. Does it hard shift when its on or just shift late?

It shifts late. If i'm on it a little, it goes up to about 3900 rpm's before it shifts. When the a/c if off, it shifts normal.

wow, my truck rarely goes over 2500, and never over 3000
