4.6 5.4 swap
Had pull my heads due to a bad had gasket and bringing them in to have them inspected and resurfaced is gonna run close to 800 plus head bolts and new gaskets. The engine has 165k and I can get a long block with a 10 year warranty for 1700 so I'm leaning towards that right now. But if I do that I would like to drop a 5.4 in instead of the 4.6 which I have now. I know there are a few threads already but I still have some unanswered questions. What exactly do I need to change or mod and does anybody have a price for the swap? Not including the engine itself....

What year and body style of truck I will compare the wiring diagrams and let you know, but from what research I have done on other wiring questions the wiring might be the same, but the computer will not be. As with sensors.

you need to find a guy that goes by "thejlc" on this forum..... im pretty sure hes got alot of knowledge about this.. if you can gind his profile he has alot of swap notes
