Gott's mod with K&N drop in or eBay CAI?
Like it says, which would be best? I already have the Gott's mod with a Fram Tough Guard filter but I'm looking to add an SCT tuner and new O2 sensors. So, the question is do I go with a cheap CAI, do a K&N oem replacement, or stick with what I'm already doin?

I've got the K&N. no difference. Enough said

I'm running a AFE drop in replacement which is a cleanable dry filter element. K&N and other oiled filter over time will get oil residue on the MAF element and can cause poor performance and poor fuel economy.

Across this forum and other F150 forums the general consensus is that the Gotts mod is the best option, regardless of filter choice. There is even some dyno data in previous threads regarding this subject if you wish to search for it.
I personally have run the Gotts mod and a K&N filter in my last two trucks with great results. Next time I will run the dry cleanable filter as mentioned above. If I were in your position I would wait until your current air filter is due for replacement and swap to a dry cleanable filter. You will spend more now but save money over the life of your truck, even if you don't notice any performance difference.
