This is so funny, I saw these on a camaro with no cats and wondered what they were. Btw, no check engine light on either. As for tailpipe testing, if your engine is in good running condition it should be ok. If you want to be safe and what I may do is cut the cat off, hollow it out and weld it back on so it appears stock. Nice write up.

Thanks, that would probably work too if they look under the truck in inspection

i have an 02, which two do i cut out so i can get a better sound, without throwing the CEL or messing the computer readings up ....

bout to get mine cut off soon. anyone know how much you can get at scrap for the back two?

Not sure but if a shop cuts them they keep them

I scrapped mine for 100,
My brother did his for 45
So Yea I think it just depends on the viechle I heard toyotas are worth the most
